Nutrition and mood
Nutrition and mood are closely linked, with a poor diet often exacerbating symptoms of depression and anxiety and an improved diet often resulting in an overall improvement in mental health.
If you eat junk you’ll feel like junk. I know right now it might be tempting to throw your hands up and say “forget healthy eating”. But the foods you’re wanting to indulge in are only going to make you feel anxious and lethargic.
Here are a couple tips to insure that you’re getting good nutrition in your diet:
-Make sure you’re getting at least 4 cups of fruits and veggies each day
-Eat ~30 grams of protein three times per day
-Consume whole grains
